What it is

Twisted multi-conductor cable (1 to 15 conductors) made from qualified component wire such as M22759 or M81044, with an optional braided shield and jacket, all coded in the part number. Shield codes cover tin, silver, nickel and stainless braid; U means unshielded, 00 means no jacket.

Where it's used	Shielded or unshielded signal and power runs in aircraft and military harnesses.
Spec status	NEMA WC 27500 (MIL-DTL-27500 transferred to NEMA); M27500 part numbers still used.
