Mil-spec connectors, contacts, backshells, wire and the hardware that finishes a harness. We source each order to your part number, which is why every quote line shows its own lead time.

MIL-DTL-38999 is the standard circular on current military aircraft. 26482 and 5015 are still called out on older platforms and ground equipment, and 83723 is still called out on many aircraft and military vehicle harnesses. Rectangular D-sub and Micro-D too.

| Rectangular | M24308/2 · /4 · M83513 | D-sub and Micro-D. |
Usually ordered with it: contacts, a backshell, a dust cap, sealing plugs for empty cavities and the insertion tool. Put them on the same RFQ and we'll match each one to the shell and insert.
Makes we source: Amphenol Aerospace, Souriau, ITT Cannon, TE Connectivity (Deutsch), Glenair, Positronic for rectangular.

Crimp contacts under MIL-DTL-39029. The dash number fixes the size, the plating and pin or socket, so send the full number.
| Contact size | Wire range | Where you see it |
|---|---|---|
| 22D | 22 to 28 AWG | High-density 38999 signal inserts |
| 20 | 20 to 24 AWG | General signal |
| 16 | 16 to 20 AWG | Power and heavier signal |
| 12 | 12 to 14 AWG | Power |
For 38999: M39029/58 pins fit every series. Sockets are M39029/56 for Series I and III, and /57 for Series II. For unused cavities, MS27488 sealing plugs keep the grommet sealed.
Makes we source: the connector makers above, plus TE Connectivity and Amphenol for loose contacts.

SAE AS85049, formerly MIL-DTL-85049 (the M85049 part numbers on most drawings). Strain reliefs, EMI shield terminations, cable clamps and protective caps, sized to the connector series and shell.
Slash sheets we've quoted: /18, /38, /39, /48, /49, /51, /52, /95. If a backshell is called out by a maker's own part number instead, send that.
Makes we source: Glenair, Amphenol, and the backshell lines of the connector makers.

Single-conductor airframe wire to SAE AS22759 (formerly MIL-DTL-22759 and MIL-W-22759 before that, still written M22759 on most part numbers), multiconductor shielded and jacketed cable to M27500, and M16878 equipment wire. By the foot or by the spool.
Spec pages: M22759/11, M22759/87, M27500, M16878/4.
Makes we source: TE Connectivity (Raychem), PIC Wire & Cable, Amphenol CIT (formerly Carlisle).

Sleeving to SAE AS23053 (M23053 on the drawing). The slash sheet sets the material and shrink ratio, and the dash number sets size and color.
Slash sheets we've quoted: M23053/1, /4, /5, /11, /13. Cut lengths or full spools.
Makes we source: TE Connectivity (Raychem), and others where the spec allows.

Aerospace relays and their M12883 sockets, MS3320 circuit breakers, and pressure and temperature switches. These are often called out by the maker's own part number. Send that.
Makes we source: Leach, TE Connectivity, Sensata (Klixon), Honeywell.

Capacitors, resistors and other board-level parts, usually ordered by the manufacturer's part number.
Makes we source: KEMET, Vishay, Littelfuse.
We buy from sources that can trace each part back to the company that made it. Every shipment comes with a certificate that the parts meet their specification, naming the maker, part number and batch, plus the maker's own certificate when one is issued.
When a part is no longer available from the usual sources, we say so on the quote. Buying from the open market happens only with your approval, after we've vetted the source and the paperwork.
If your drawing or contract limits which makers or sources you can accept, put it on the RFQ and we'll quote only those.
We're an independent distributor. Naming a maker on this page means we buy their parts, not that we're one of their franchised distributors.
