What it is

A structural pan head screw with a cross recess, made in .164-32 UNC up to .500-20 UNF thread sizes with UNC/UNF-3A threads. Material and finish are set by a letter code after the MS number: none for cadmium plated alloy steel, C for corrosion resistant steel (A286), DD anodized aluminum, B or BP manganese bronze.

Spec status	MS27039F (15 Nov 1995) is cancelled and superseded by NASM27039.
