What it is

Plain (non-locking) hexagon nut for fine-thread machine screws, offered in cadmium-plated steel, corrosion resistant steel and brass. Examples: -302 is a 10-32 steel nut, -3252 a 1/4-28 nut (old AN345-428), -3314 a 5/16-24 CRES nut.

Where it's used	Secures fine-thread machine screws and bolts, usually with a lock washer.
Spec status	MS35650 canceled (Notice 1, 2000) and superseded by NASM35650; replaced AN341. Part numbers unchanged.
Works with	MS35207, MS35338
