D38999 38999 Series III/IV connectors

What it is

High-density circular connectors in four non-intermateable series: I (scoop-proof bayonet), II (low-profile bayonet), III (scoop-proof, triple-start self-locking threaded) and IV (breech). Series III parts use a class letter for shell material and finish (F = electroless nickel aluminum, 200C; W = olive drab cadmium aluminum, 175C; K = stainless steel firewall, 200C) and a letter code for shell size 9 to 25.

Where it's used	Signal and power interconnects on military aircraft, missiles, ground vehicles and other harsh-environment equipment.
Spec status	MIL-DTL-38999, revision M. Series III and IV use D38999/xx slash sheets; Series I and II use MS274xx numbers.
