MS27656 38999 Series I rear-mount receptacle

What it is

A scoop-proof 38999 Series I square-flange receptacle designed for rear (back panel) mounting. It uses crimp rear-release contacts and mates with the MS27467 plug.

Where it's used	Avionics boxes where the receptacle is installed from inside the enclosure.
Spec status	MS27656E (2 Feb 2012) under MIL-DTL-38999. Navy: class E inactive; Army: ground equipment only, class E inactive; Air Force: classes E and P inactive.
