What it is

The standard straight cable plug of the low-silhouette 38999 Series II family, with a bayonet coupling ring and M39029 crimp rear-release contacts. It mates with the MS27472, MS27474 and MS27497 receptacles; the version with EMI grounding fingers is MS27484.

Spec status	MS27473N (2 Feb 2012, Amendment 1 Nov 2012) under MIL-DTL-38999; reactivated after 24 May 2004 for new and existing designs.
