MS27472 38999 Series II flange receptacle

What it is

A bayonet-coupling receptacle with a square mounting flange from the low-silhouette 38999 Series II family, which is shorter and lighter than Series I but not scoop-proof. It takes crimp rear-release contacts and mates with the MS27473 and MS27484 plugs.

Spec status	MS27472J (2 Feb 2012, Amendment 1 Nov 2012) under MIL-DTL-38999; reactivated after 24 May 2004 for new and existing designs.
