What it is

The straight cable plug of the 38999 Series I family, with a bayonet coupling ring and crimp rear-release contacts. Series I plugs carry RFI/EMI grounding fingers as standard and mate with the MS27466, MS27468 and MS27656 receptacles.

Where it's used	Cable ends of avionics and airframe harnesses built to 38999 Series I.
Spec status	MS27467M (2 Feb 2012) under MIL-DTL-38999. Classes E and P inactive for new design for the Air Force.
