What it is

A straight cable plug with a threaded coupling nut and solder-cup contacts from the MIL-DTL-5015 (AN) family. The class letter sets the shell build: A general duty solid shell, E/F/R environment resisting, K firewall; classes E and R went inactive for new design in 1991.

Where it's used	Ground support, shipboard and legacy aircraft equipment wired to 5015.
Spec status	MS3106D cancelled 23 Dec 2009 (MIL-DTL-5015H Notice 1); replaced by SAE AS31061 under SAE AS50151.
Works with	MS3102, MS3100, MS3057
